Description
How to make money in the world's simplest business. Are you willing to work if given a real chance? What is this business? The good news is anyone who is reasonably fit can start a business on fifty to hundred dollars, quickly earn $150 a day or $750 a week and build up to any size business you want, working from home and even starting part-time.
The business is cleaning homes. Certainly not GLAMEROUS, but it rakes in the dollars. House cleaning can set you on the route to financial independence running your own business.
If you are happy with your hands on the mop handle, and are perfectly happy to earn $35 an hour, you can put together a cluster of customers, keep things simple and keep all the money.
Or with some management skills, earn thousands a month in the home cleaning business without touching a mop, and make more money than company executives.
Once your business is established and you have worked out all the kinks, you can spread your wings further and earn mega dollars by franchising your brand name and operating know-how. Instead of employing workers, sell off areas to other people who are excited about starting their own business under your brand. With their fees, royalties and other income, you can watch the money roll in without ever using a mop.
It's up to you.
The trick of this business is simple. Don't go into debt. Start with as little money as possible and begin making money from your first job. Don't pay franchisee fees and monthly royalty and advertising costs; don't borrow money you have to pay back monthly.
The second trick is not to buy customers starting up a business. If you buy a trading business, you purchase the existing customers. People don't like to be bought and sold, particularly if the buyer is a stranger working inside their castle. You WILL lose customers you just bought for any number of reasons. Remember, customers are FREE. You just need to unlock them with simple promotions and professional quoting.
Why Cleaning?
Most service businesses are seasonal - lawn mowing, pet walking, swimming pool cleaning, window cleaning and so forth. Their business can be determined by forces outside their control, like drought, heavy rain, snow, or seasons like winter and summer. With house cleaning, no matter the outside conditions, dirt and dust still settles in homes.
Why Houses?
House cleaning offers a low cost entry into a business valued by the customer. Unlike commercial cleaning, you do not have a large upfront cost of scrubbers and polishers. However, as your house cleaning grows and you have more cash, you might consider commercial cleans as a future option.
This is a simple to operate business, where you choose your customers and grow the business to the size you are happy working. You can choose to work solo; choose to employ staff to do the work; choose to franchise your good name. It's entirely up to you.
So before you chase an expensive franchise or buy customers in an existing business, read
Earn Great Money from a Bucket and see how you can go it alone at very low risk. This manual has not been put together by a business academic or journalist. It is written by someone who started a home cleaning business from scratch and learnt the lessons the hard way.
