Since a young boy, Thaddeus "Teflon" Hayes had been infatuated with the drug game. Despite the loving two parent home he grew up in, there was something about the money, power, & respect that came with the title "drug dealer" that piqued his interest. He wanted in. And at the age of 15 he sold his first dime bag of weed.

Indigo's upbringing wasn't as pleasant and as loving as Teflon's was. She grew up watching her mother be weak for a man that had nothing to offer but a headache and sex. She refused to settle just for the sake of saying she had a man. And she refused to depend on them for anything but the tips they gave her while she finessed the pole. So, when things get heated between her and Teflon, she's slow to give in to his advances, despite how attractive and captivating he may be.

Ultimately, Indigo gives in to the idea of Teflon wanting more than just sex from her. She sats her unwillingness to commit aside. But unfortunately, her change of heart might have sat in too late.
