Max Kane continues to wander around the country solving crimes and helping people. When his twin sister Robin invites him to drive out east on a personal journey of discovery, he drops everything to help her out. After a DNA test turns up relatives that neither of the twins knew existed, both of them are skeptical, uncertain, but hopeful for what they might find in rural Vermont.
