In our constant search for fulfillment, we often immerse ourselves in the world and saturate ourselves with it. Only, at the end of each busy day, we find that what we thought would fill us has left us not quite satisfied. Not sure what to do about this, we decide to immerse ourselves a little deeper next time, working to super-saturate ourselves with everything that promises pleasure, fulfillment, and satisfaction. Only, again, we get to the end of the day and realize the world's promises have seemed to slip through our fingers. We repeat this pattern over and over again, discovering each time that what promised so much didn't really deliver.

There is One, however, whose promises always prove reliable. Jesus promised life, but not just any life. He promised a life that would be full and satisfying, and that promise has proven true for two thousand years. Indeed, everything you need to experience real life is found in Christ.

What follows is the CONSIDER section which will provide a brief overview of the biblical chapter focused on for the day. After that comes READ, where that day's chapter is studied. Once the chapter has been read through, you will head to the INVEST portion which usually contains five to seven questions to get you thinking about what was read and how it affects daily life. Next comes PRAY. In this area, suggestions are offered on what should be prayed about that particular day. Finally, TRAINING offers practical steps to take during the day to help apply the Word to life.
