Things are changing in Landover... including the ghosts
In 1923 after a snowed-in weekend with friends, Feldman Winehouse was found murdered under a poker table at his own speakeasy. A century later, his ghost has come to medium detective Carly Taylor to find out which one of his "good friends" did it.
But there's a catch: Feldman isn't exactly trustworthy. He cheated his way in to see Carly, and he seems to be hiding a lot, not just secrets about what happened to him that weekend, but his energy also seems off to Carly. Like he's shifting into something a little more dangerous than just your typical ghost.
Carly wants nothing to do with this smooth-talking, possibly-changing ghost. But when he dangles long-lost secrets about the town's mysterious curse in front of her, she can't resist.
During their channeling to 1923, Carly finds out the hard way that there are certain spirits you shouldn't trust in life. Cheaters cheat for a reason, and the consequences for helping a devilish ghost with his murder case can sometimes lead to all hell breaking loose. Literally.
Under the Cheater's Table is the fourth book in the Ghosts of Landover series, perfect for anyone who likes humorous paranormal cozy mysteries with a little heart and lots of souls.
