Description
Things are changing in Landover... including the ghosts
In 1923, Feldman Winehouse was found murdered under the poker table at his own speakeasy after a snowed-in weekend with friends. A century later, his ghost has come to medium detective Carly Taylor to find out which one of his "good friends" did it.
But there's a catch: Feldman isn't exactly trustworthy. He cheated his way in to see Carly, and he seems to be hiding more than he's sharing. His energy is... off. Shifting. Dangerous.
Carly wants nothing to do with this smooth-talking, possibly-changing ghost. But when he dangles long-lost secrets about the town's mysterious curse in front of her, Carly is drawn deeper into a murder that's twistier and colder than the Wisconsin winter it happened in.
And she finds out the hard way that there are certain spirits you shouldn't trust in life. Cheaters cheat for a reason, and the consequences for helping a devilish ghost can be more than dangerous. They can get deadly fast, especially when all hell breaks loose.
