Decades ago, meals looked quite a bit different than most dinners look today. Since we have the luxuries of restaurant and boxed meals delivered to our homes, we don't have to cook at home quite so often.

While the home cooks of today are using foods logically, many older recipes like those in this cookbook may even seem a little wacky. They were certainly innovative, especially for the time.

Of course, gelatin molds pretty much stayed back in the day when they were used more frequently, although grandparents may have some treasured molds hung on the wall of their pantries.
