Description
Summer in a sleepy Cotswold town - or a tour to America with the local theatre group?
For frazzled music teacher Chloe Keating it's no contest! She's in desperate need of a change of scene and when Nev, her unwanted suitor, has to drop out of the tour, she has a way to escape his advances. She'll have to sing for her supper, of course, helping with the school orchestra when she's not on stage. Still, after five years of widowhood, she's more than ready for a break...
The challenges start before they're even on the plane. Teenage girls were always going to trail trouble in their wake, but when the stranger chatting to her in the departure lounge ends up face down in a pool of blood, Chloe wonders if she's taken on more than she can cope with. When she meets Misha and Raki - two brilliant musicians exiled from their homeland - complications pile on complications.
Georgia on my Mind is a gripping tale of rampant teenagers, musical egos, drunken actors and post-Cold War intrigue, all conspiring in Hitchcock-style confusion to wreck the tour.
