Description
Earth is off limits...
... to set foot on the planet is punishable by death.
But when a rogue pack of weren -- werewolf-like shifters -- are found heading to Earth, Captain Kade and the crew of the Sentinally are discreetly called upon to hunt them down.
Shouldn't be a problem for these fierce warriors -- if they can ignore their hunger and the fact that humans have the riches blood in all the galaxies -- they'll find and dispose of the weren and go elsewhere to feed.

As they try to figure out what the weren are up and save as many humans from being turned, Kade comes across a human female. With long reddish-brown hair and bright green eyes, she's bravely fighting off a pack of the nasty beasts.
He's attracted to her, which should be impossible. Yet, he desires a taste of her, wants to feel her touch... get to know her. Unfortunately before he gets the chance, she's bitten. And not by him.
When the antivenom doesn't work, Kade knows time is running out. He's needed to stop the weren, but if he doesn't help the female in his arms, she will die.
The choices are hard. Or are they?

"I'm not a big fan of vampires but after reading this one I realized that I have been painting them all with the same brush as there is only a few ways to make them different. However, this one was really good and had another flavor I don't usually read a science fiction twist."
