It's the end of the regular hockey season! For the kids of Dakota - Millie, Cameron, Daylyn, Ashlyn, Preston, and the rest of the crew - it's time to get serious because it's state championship time! The girls play for the Dakota Hurricanes, and the boys play for the Dakota Lightning. Naturally, there's a very healthy and often heated rivalry between the two groups of kids.

In Hockey Wars 4: Championships, book four in the Hockey Wars Series, both teams are heading to the state championships, where they'll put it all on the line against some of the best teams in the state in a tournament to determine who's the best of the best.
