When my sons were ages 6,5 and 3 I came across a 'how to make your own book'
bookmaking course. Since I was a fresh, eager home educator I thought it
would be a perfect project for my two oldest sons. So we did it! We learned how
to write and illustrate stories and all the other tasks that go into publishing a bookeven
sewing and binding the pages! They were delighted how they turned out and
surprised their dad, who didn't know what they had been working on in school. I
offered the class to other students and, along with my sons, created more illustrated
adventures. The boys' collection grew to be what you are holding in your hands
now. I am experiencing what I call a "flip-flop" as I am now assembling their
precious collection of adventures. Funny how life comes back around!
