Bliss and Ricardo have a strange relationship: they are husband and wife for a couple of days every year around Christmas. In the rest of their time, they are just close friends and never actually cross the line that separates sympathy from passion. Things get a little complicated as the holiday season approaches: Ricardo's family is getting suspicious about his wife and wants to see some proof of that supposed to be the real marriage. They decide to get married for real to be able to show the paperwork as proof and also forge some evidence, like pictures on which they seemingly have a great time together. The problem is that the pretending of having a great time together results in really having a great time together and once that fine line is crossed there is no turning back.
