Description

To survive the Waste, you have to be a different breed of human.

Using alien tech, humans are able to alter and improve the DNA of any living thing and even bring species back from extinction, but they don't stop there and all things come with a price. A hundred years after an alien organism has ravaged the earth, humans live in pockets of surviving populations across the Wasteland. Many of them are infected by a strange pathogen called Silverloid that turns the bones to metal and either kills its host or drives them to madness... except for Genesis.

She's a survivor from one of the last great cities on Earth and after living with Silverloid for more than half her life, she's convinced it's just a matter of time before it takes her. Intent on giving her already condemned life to rid the Waste of the savage cannibals that destroyed her childhood, Genesis faces horrifying trials, but when everything she's ever known to be true shatters in the blink of an eye, Genesis is left questioning herself and everything around her. She must abandon her quest for revenge and trust in new allies if she's going to put the pieces together again. There's only one problem. Between her and answers lies a sea of unfathomable dangers.

The Waste is the mother of all monsters. One Genesis is no stranger to and she isn't going down without a fight. Along the way, she may just find new reasons to live.

***WARNING: This book is set in a brutal post-apocalyptic world and contains violence, assault, and talk of cannibalism. It is not meant for the faint of heart. Proceed with caution***
