Great sermons for your edification

This is the fifth volume of The World's Great Sermons. As Christians, we are also a product of our time and the problems we face in society and the church. God's truth is timeless, though.
While these sermons have been preached in a certain time period, they are some of the greatest sermons in history from a wide variety of theological persuasions, each falling within the historic Christian faith, though.
Often, we can be so occupied with our own time and place in this world, largely unaware of the time and place of other Christians. These sermons will give you a greater appreciation of how God has worked His grace throughout history.
The following sermons are in this volume:
Guthrie (1803-1873) - The New Heart
Maurice (1805-1872) - The Valley of Dry Bones
Martineau (1805-1900) - Parting Words
Manning (1808-1892) - The Triumph of the Church
Park (1808-1900) - The Prominence of the Atonement
Simpson (1810-1884) - The Resurrection of Our Lord
Theodore Parker (1810-1860) - The Transient and Permanent in Christianity
Macleod (1812-1872) - The True Christian Ministry
Mozley (1813-1878) - The Reversal of Human Judgment
As with any writer and book, we should be like the Bereans, "examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so" (Acts 17:11). Or as Paul wrote: "Test everything; hold fast what is good" (1 Thess. 5:21).
