This book aims to provide a concise and clear explanation of the practice of meditation and the benefits that it can bring, clearing up potential misunderstandings and opening a door that all can choose to pass through no matter what their existing beliefs or lifestyle patterns might be. About the author: James Donaldson is the pen name of a writer with strong ties to Asia. He has been exploring meditation for well over four decades, and has now chosen to share insights about his practice with those who might be able to gain benefit from them. He is also the author of The Oneness Book, from which material concerning meditation has been excerpted (with changes) in the present text. Since sharing insight is the primary motivation for writing and publishing this book, and earning money is not a goal at all, the price of the e-book version has been kept below US$1, thus (hopefully) making it possible for almost anyone with an interest in the book to be able to obtain a copy. Although I am not permitted to simply give away the book on this website (since the host organization needs to cover their costs in running it) I am allowed to have a few days in each three month period when my e-books may be downloaded for free. These days usually fall on a Saturday (for a whole 24 hour period, based on US West Coast times).
