Six Inches for the Holy Spirit is a dark, irreverent comedy that tells the story of Johnny McQueen and his attempts to lose his virginity before his sixteenth birthday... and also to reek havoc and uncompromising revenge on all those that have bullied him and his troubled brother Wayne. Set in England in the 1980s, working class Johnny comes from a dysfunctional Irish immigrant family and spends most of his days day-dreaming about the girl next door and building his very own criminal empire. Tired of being bullied by practically everyone around him, Johnny finally decides that he can take no more, and sets out on a road to bloody vengeance, and nothing and nobody will stop him on his quest. On Johnny's journey, we meet an array of eccentric individuals including a ninety year old semi-professional prostitute, Johnny's transvestite neighbour, a deviant high court judge, a sexually frustrated cougar named June, and a host of other social misfits that either pave the way or undermine our antihero's dreams. Will Johnny pop his cherry before time runs out? Will he win the heart of his beloved Sally? Will he ever build his empire?
