Description

Monsters are real, and they live among us. True crime can be worse than anything that Hollywood could dream up. Sometimes your doctor is not your friend, especially if the locals start calling him Dr. Death behind his back. And whatever you do, don't ever get bacon from Willy's pig farm. There might be something more to it. All of the stories in Far Worse Than Fiction - Book 2 are true, even if we don't want them to be. In a society that craves a motive and reason why some do what they do, sometimes we'll never know.

In this book...

? Piggy Palace Good Times Society: On a rundown pig farm east of Vancouver, Canada, law enforcement became involved in what would be the most extensive forensic investigation in the country's history. One man would convert his pig processing operation into a slaughterhouse for humans, and before it was over, it appeared the killer covered the entire farm with blood and remains.

? The Days After Labor Day: The Labor Day weekend of 1994 would kick off a killing spree that would leave a trail of murder victims and theft across seven states. The motive would later seem to be nothing more than boredom.

? Backpacker Murders: In the late 80s and early 90s, backpackers viewed Australia as being one of the safest countries in the world. However, a serial killer would change this perception.

? Millions of Reasons: Just after Easter Sunday in 1992, on Tuesday, April 21st, the bodies of three family members were found dead in their home. The main suspect would have an airtight alibi since he was hundreds of miles away at the time of the murders. The murdered patriarch of the family became a self-made millionaire through several business ventures throughout his life and was worth almost eight million dollars when the intruder killed him.

? Dr. Death: On an evening in Hyde, England, digging equipment disturbed a graveyard's silence while investigators exhumed a body. The investigators were on the trail of the most prolific serial killer England has ever known. In the following weeks, investigators would perform many more exhumations. Over the next several months, law enforcement would investigate over 150 deceased patients.

* The names of the victims and investigators have been changed. Only the names of the guilty are real.
