This book is an account of my personal journey battling infertility. It covers a three-year period and there are no-holds barred. It's full of personal prose. Perhaps you will cry, hopefully you'll laugh... much like I learnt to on what felt like a road to nowhere. There's a little bit of everything. The very beginning where we embark on the process to conception, to the hardcore realities of undergoing fertility treatment, and the lifechanging outcomes - favourable or not. There's a lot on apathy and maybe even more on empathy. It's a reality check to realising that we are not entitled to the perfect life. And more importantly, the dangers of subscribing to what one ought to look like. Unintentionally it became a story of love lost and love gained, life learnings and the quest to let more light in.
