Description

So much that is valued is rooted in a family's history. A library filled with old books, journals, and newspapers tells the stories that are passed down from one generation to the next... cherished traditions never to be forgotten... and for some, an unbreakable sense of honor that stands the test of time.

Family Tribute... the eighth book in the Delahass Legacy continues the ongoing story of the search for the secrets that Jeremy Delahass took great care to hide in the hope that his descendants would recognize their importance. As some of those secrets are found, they also discover what their ancestor believes should be done to reveal history as it took place as he was unable to during his lifetime.

Despite the danger, another trip to Espinola is taken in search of clues that may have been left below the old school that Jeremy Delahass returned to throughout his life... a place that held both priceless memories and painful truths. But it is not all they find, and suddenly everything they've learned so far must be reevaluated from a completely different perspective. Could Espinola's history hold more of the answers they've been looking for?

And though it may not answer any of the lingering questions... or identify those who have hop-scotched through history, leaving behind chaos and needless deaths, the unexpected discovery of a small clearing, surrounded by centuries old iron-wrought fencing and trees that shield it from view... pose other questions... about its history and Jeremy's ties to where it leads.

And amidst the danger and the questions that seem to have no answers, they find unexpected links to the past... antique game pieces, aging coins, and once obsolete kitchen gadgets that have found new life a century later... all come with memories that remind them why their trip to Espinola is so important.

The Delahass Legacy spans generations... In the middle of the twenty-first century Jeremy Delahass came from out of nowhere much as history decreed his ancestor did the same way some two hundred years before him.

Jeremiah Delahass was his legacy, that of a man counted among those who fought in some of the harshest battles of the Revolutionary War for Independence, a legacy that Jeremy waved like a beacon and eventually reached the pinnacle as his ancestor had been unable to.
But Jeremy's dreams had never been those which would put him in the midst of the public eye. Jeremy Delahass had never been driven to right all wrongs, to speak the words of the voiceless, to be the one who pushed until promises made were kept. And he had never felt the need to sit in the center of power.

But he did all those things.

Jeremy Delahass did all that he wouldn't have otherwise because of those who had dreamed of doing so, for those who did have visions of all that could be, and who had been driven to right all the wrongs... but couldn't. Their lives had been tragically and violently cut short.

In fulfilling what they were no longer able to, Jeremy Delahass became a hero to scores... yet was also reviled by many who resented the changes he fought for. And he left behind a lasting heritage for all of those who would follow. And so it endured. The Delahass Legacy.

Now... two hundred years later...
