This book is a compilation of stories and testaments of Black Nurses in America who share their struggles and achievements throughout their career. It is with great hopes and desire to inspire other Black Nurses in the struggle and provide hope by empowering them to rise no matter what. They will know that they are valued, they truly matter, and make a difference in the medical profession. It is also our hope and desire that this book will be a great educational resource for all in our profession as well as our community. We make choices to heal by taking the first step. It is simply called acknowledgment.
