Description
Mike O'Sullivan has always thought Leigh Donovan was different. Even as a little girl and later as a teen something just drew him to her inner essence. He had even made her his gilfriend when he was a senior in high school. Then, tragedy struck and Mike barely survived. He needed all his time to keep his parents from buckling under their unending pain. He didn't have time for a girlfriend. When his haze of pain and grief lifted, Leigh was gone.
Leigh Donovan has always known she was different. Even as a little girl, her being adopted wasn't the only difference she felt. She dealt with her anxiety over her differences by being friends with the O'Sullivan kids. The daughter, Mandy was her best friend since their crib days. Mandy's big brother, Mike was Leigh's hero and later, for literal hours, he was her boyfriend. Then everything changed.
Years later they are reunited in their hometown. They're all grown up and everything is changed. Except for their unique connection is even stronger than Mike realizes. Can they find their way back to each other?
