Ten years ago, Captain William Nagy lost his officer commission along with millions of other sailors due to government cutbacks. Now, he spends his days at his favorite haunt, The Shiny Moon bar.

One day, however, he and his crew are called back into service by an admiral acting on disturbing new intelligence received by the Office of Naval Intelligence. With an unorthodox crew and a dilapidated ship, William sets off to investigate.
