Martin (a vampire) and Quietus (not a vampire, but something weird for sure) are two podcasters doing their absolute best.

When they're invited to a podcasting convention far from home and even further from their comfort zone, they decide to go despite the ever present threat that hunters of the supernatural will attempt to expose them for what they are. Which is totally dead. Tentatively, and in a car that's barely holding together, they strike out for the west coast and hope that their cover story of being two normal human podcasters who are definitely just pretending to be members of the undead will hold true.

But when they arrive and an old enemy appears, Martin and Quietus must face down events and people they thought they left behind -- and hope that for once in their lives a supernatural incident doesn't ruin an opportunity to get what they want.

In pursuit of actually getting to hold their podcast panel, Martin and Quietus encounter monsters, hitchhikers, bad jokes, broken sunglasses, necromancers, a giant spoon, fake teeth (and real teeth), unexplained phenomenon, and, perhaps most terrifyingly, the closer than they think past and the state of their own endless existences.
