Description
In the 1980s a group of researchers in Miami, discover the spectacular ruins of Atlantis beneath the waters of the so-called Bermuda triangle. Unconsciously driven by forces set in motion during previous lives on Atlantis, the characters deal with some very ancient blowback; passionate romance; heroic action; ancient technology; underwater archaeology; treachery in high places; and nature turned very bad... An investigative reporter for a national television network, Keith Warner is working a story on cocaine traffic, and is hot on the trail of a very dangerous drug kingpin, known on the street as 'Saturn.' While filming a drug bust, Keith unexpectedly acquires a clue unknown to drug agents, and he sees an opportunity. Keeping the discovery to himself and his loyal assistant Mario Rodriguez, Keith plans to track the phone number and Jose Almeida, the busted drug smuggler. To do so though, he must give up the support of his network which finds his plan threatening to important people. Keith's bold, albeit impulsive, choice will lead him into the heart of a dark web, and to the origin of strange and powerful forces set in motion thousands of years ago.
Soon he finds himself in an unlikely alliance with a maverick archaeologist exploring the possible underwater ruins of ancient Atlantis in the Bahamas. The Atlantis angle has little interest to Keith, but Bjorn Leyerdorf and his beautiful daughter Kristine give him cover to covertly pursue his 'Saturn' quest and more. Unexpectedly, and despite his better judgement, Keith finds himself falling love with Kristine.
Leyerdorf's investor Ryan Hesse, a wealthy oil baron and real estate developer, owns two state-of-the-art oil-exploration mini-submarines that Leyerdorf wants to deploy in his hunt for Atlantean artifacts. Hesse seems attracted to the idea of investing in a documentary produced by network star Keith about Leyerdorf's work which has previously produced some valuable archaeology. If the resulting documentary helps to promote the major tourist attraction that Hesse plans for his exclusive Bahama resort Atland Island, so much the better. Things are working out well, Keith thinks, but they are about to turn ugly...
