Description
Returning from a voyage into those icy seas ruled by the terrible Northmen, Sinbad finds Baghdad a scene of chaos--under attack not from hordes of fanatical nomads but a djinn, who abducts the caliph's sister, Princess Abassa, at the behest of the evil wizard Ja'afar, and carries her off to Djinnistan at the edge of the world.
The caliph begs Sinbad to follow his sister to the distant land and rescue his abducted sister, but it is a journey far beyond Sinbad's seamanship. The only way to travel to the emerald mountains of Kaf, where Djinnistan lies, is by magic. The fabled carpet of Suleiman is reputed to be preserved in an ancient chapel in the land of Abyssinia. With its magical powers Sinbad will be able to travel across the seven seas that divide Djinnistan from the world of men where he will be able to rescue the abducted princess.
He sets out, accompanied by a motley crew of thieves, slave girls and knights. It will be a long voyage, Sinbad's greatest challenge yet. And when at last he reaches Djinnistan's emerald peaks, he will find that things are not as simple as they seemed...
