The only solution to the chief's demands is a fake relationship with this dangerous yet honorable kitty, but this game of cat and mouse will turn into something more if we're not careful. Especially with the way he looks at me like he wants to devour me--and not in the dinner kind of way, either. I haven't been touched by anyone in years, but we've gotta make this thing believable, or it's game over.
The only problem is, once he starts touching me, I suddenly don't want him to stop. But will he leave this place behind for me when I leave to find the others? And is it even fair to ask that of him?
The Marvel-ous Mates of Artaxa Prime series is a slow-build "collection of multiple mates" / "menagerie" / R H, and Celeste's mate list will only grow larger with each subsequent book. The series should be read in order so that you can better understand all the surrounding elements of the plot.
