Description

Quantum Hughes doesn't know how long he's been trapped in a cyber noir world known as The Loop.

For each day that passes, Quantum adds an item to his inventory list, hoping that he'll one day be free.

Has it really been nearly 550 days? Has he gone mad? Will Quantum ever be free?

A surprise message from the real world sparks a series of events that Quantum could never have never imagined. Suddenly, he's facing off against killer invaders, fighting steam-powered robots, going toe-to-toe with dagger-wielding goblins, visiting floating realms, and even taming a mirrored dragon.

Through Quantum's trademark snark, his near bottomless inventory list of items (example: item 287, King Tut's dagger made from a meteorite; item 327, a Viking helmet with horns), there's no telling what he will do next, or how far Quantum will go to level up and solve a challenge.

It's going to be one hell of an uphill battle, but if there is anyone who can come out on top, it's Quantum.

About the series: Explore vast and unique fantasy MMORPG worlds in one of the first original LitRPG series published between 2015-2018 from Harmon Cooper, Amazon bestselling author of Pilgrim, Cowboy Necromancer, and War Priest. Fans of role playing games and everything from classic noir to high fantasy and fast-paced gamer action will love this new collection. Watched Boss Battle? You'll dig this. A fan of Sin City, Sword Art Online, The Punisher, Cyberpunk 2077, Free Guy, or Ready Player One? This will scratch that itch. Volume One collects the first four books in the Feedback Loop series and features a bonus short story set in The Loop, as well as the first 300 items of Quantum's insane inventory list. And don't miss the audiobook Narrated by Dungeon Crawler Carl's Jeff Hays.

Reviews for The Feedback Loop Book One:

"Reading The Feedback Loop is like taking a master class on how to write an engaging and expertly crafted novel." --Amazon reviewer

"Five stars. If Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs, Raymond Chandler, and Dashiell Hammett got together to write a LitRPG, and they used every conceivable piece of noir verbiage ever written (in the best possible way), they'd turn out The Feedback Loop by Harmon Cooper. It's funny, fast paced, and full of bullets. The poetry purrs like a one-two punch. This is Cooper's tough love letter to the crime noir and LitRPG genres. Excellent from page one to the heart-wrenching end." --Baron Sord, LitRPG author of Reternity Online : Rescue Quest

"The Feedback Loop has a core of solid noir, is wrapped in a rich coating of ultra-violence, sprinkled with witty dialog, and leaves you satisfied with a smile on your face... but drooling for more. Bravo!" --Eric Nylund, New York Times bestselling author of HALO: The Fall of Reach, and Hero of Thera

"Imagine if Sword Art Online was smart, violent, gritty and intense." -- Apollos Thorne, author of Codename: Freedom and Heaven's Law

"A mad, insane totally awesome sci-fi story... With sharp writing and an edgy, fast-paced plot, it's easy to get lost in the game yourself. The extensive and graphic world-building with The Loop should especially impress gamers." -- Amazon top 500 reviewer
