The characters are relatable, funny and extremely likeable. The story is fascinating, unexpected and thoughtful. I especially like the concept of how slowly the world deteriorates and how us humans make a mess of it all.
Chris's adventure is the best bit of all, an unlucky guy who stumbles from one mess to another without ever having a full understanding of what is happening but somehow manages to survive.
