It is the summer of 1972 when strange things begin to happen in my life. I live in Phoenix, Arizona, in Apartment 409 with my mom Mille and three siblings. The oldest sister is Kathlyn. She is twelve. Gabrielle is eleven, and our brother Tyrell is thirteen.

This summer of 1972 has so many life-changing events that take place. These strange voices I hear are horrifying - young girls growing up too fast with little or no supervision.
