Description
"I don't want to kill you," Zubair said, "not until after I tear that dress off you and hear you screaming in pain to add to my joy."
Agrin was looking at him, clenching the dagger in her hand. "But I won't take that risk, no doubt your dead body will serve me with the same joy," Zubair said, waving the muzzle of his gun in her face. "Now, you tell me where to aim and shoot you so that nothing detracts from your beauty, huh? The middle of your eyes? Or perhaps your heart." He pointed his rifle at her head and Agrin closed her eyes.
The sound of gunfire shocked Agrin. She opened her eyes to see Zubair crumple to his knees and his weapon fall to the ground. He was puzzled as to who had shot him and where the bullet had come from. He touched his bloody chest, looking at his bloody hand and then looked backed at Agrin.
Agrin took the opportunity to grasp the dagger even tighter, then launch herself at Zubair and plunged the blade into his heart, twisting it as hard as she could. Zubair fell to the ground. Agrin pulled her dagger out and wiped the blood on the grass.
Agrin stood up as she put the dagger back in her belt. She saw a man running towards her with his gun aimed at her.
He shouted, "Don't move! Stay still, until I get close or I will shoot you."
Heartbreakingly sad yet powerful story to read.
