A murderer and burglar broke into your home! What would you do?

This is exactly the situation millions of Ukrainians found themselves in when, on the night of February 24, 2022, Russia launched missile strikes on the peaceful cities of Ukraine! The War Russia vs. Ukraine began, which the aggressor called a "special military operation".
The situation is very scary! When criminals break into a house, everyone acts differently. Someone hides in the closet or under the bed, someone on his knees begs for mercy and is ready to give up everything of value. And someone picks up a gun and drives the criminals out of his house.
The most tragic thing in this situation is that such a criminal turned out to be a neighbor, who, according to an international treaty (the Budapest Memorandum), promised to be the guarantor of peace and security.
But he was cruelly mistaken when he thought that Ukraine would fall to its knees. Rocket attacks and bombings only united the Ukrainians! Each rocket attack on peaceful cities, each war crime by Russia, only increased the wave of people's anger and desire to do whatever it took to drive the enemy from their land.
This military comic strip is based on real events. It tells the story of the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It tells about the people who do everything to bring Ukraine's victory in the war closer. These are Ukrainian soldiers and officers giving their lives. These are ordinary people donating personal savings to the Ukrainian army. These are volunteers who have dedicated their lives to helping other people.
The drawings for the Ukrainian comic strip were created by a young artist from the city of Izyum. During the Russian shelling, an artillery shell hit her house. She lost her home and her entire family. Despite being wounded, she managed to evacuate before the city was occupied by Russian troops.
The comic book also tells the story of the Brothers in Arms Charitable Foundation, which funded the creation of this comic. The Brothers in Arms Foundation assists Armed Forces of Ukraine fighters with supplies of special equipment, and vehicles. The foundation also provides financial support to refugees who are in dire straits.
Funds from Ukrainian comic book sales go to the Brothers in Arms Foundation.
