Description
Visit the small town of Huckleberry Hollow this season for a cozy Christmas romance set in the mountains of Georgia.
Cameron Kelly's longest dream has been to grow in recognition as a professional artist. Her watercolor paintings are colorful and vibrant, inspired by her hometown of Huckleberry Hollow: the slightly crooked courthouse steeple, the silhouette of mountains rising up at the end of Main Street, the occasional roadside chicken cocking its head up at passing tourists.
Cameron has recently landed a spot as a featured artist in the local art gallery, but sales are slim (all right, non-existent so far). So when a well-known gallery client commissions a painting from Cameron to feature at the upcoming Christmas gala, she rushes to accept, no matter the timeline. Except now her interactions with the event's organizer, Lucas Galen, seem to grow more and more frequent. And that's unpleasant. He's abrupt. He's impatient. He's altogether... well, very blue-eyed, yes, and also... unsettling in the way she's beginning to feel when he stands close with that checklist in hand.
Lucas Galen expected a restful two weeks at his aunt's home in Huckleberry Hollow: free of logistics, planning, or organizing -- really, anything that remotely resembles the last few exhausting months of work. Oh, and he also expects a holiday free of any dating (certainly none of that). When he's unexpectedly thrown into leading his aunt's extraordinary and unparalleled Christmas gala (her description), Lucas clashes with Cameron, a brunette artist who increasingly seems to pop up everywhere -- including his thoughts, come to think of it.
As the Christmas gala hurtles closer, will Cameron's artistic hopes be realized? And in the snowy streets of Huckleberry Hollow, will the increasing attraction between her and Lucas grow into something more?
