The Rise of WaterBear follows the journey of Josey, the last Native American alive in a dystopian world set 200 years in the future. Josey the WaterBear and his town are surprised by the attack of alien ships (No one has seen sect airships in the last 50-plus years). The sects burn down the village & his home, take captives, and murder the innocent.

Not wanting to go to war by forcing himself to face the last surviving sect Sensor, the hideous Legion, Josey at first refuses to lead a second rebellion. The WaterBear sees fighting the sects as futile after knowing the fate of the rebels from 100 years before having so tragically ended.

Even still, the Sensor is hot on his trail; everyone, and anything that Josey touches is in danger...
