Description
Is this a devotional?
It is... Or it isn't. It's up to you! Although the book is divided into days, this isn't a traditional devotional. Most devotionals typically offer inspirational reflections on the Word of God, but such reflections are disconnected from one another. Generally, the topic you read one day is isolated from the topic you read the next day. This book is different. As you read it, you'll discover that each day holds a self-contained truth, yet this truth is related to what you'll read on the following day. The book is arranged in a progressive fashion so that you can meditate daily on how spiritual growth takes place. In this way, you have a chance to read one day at a time or several at once. It's up to you.
Why the subtitle?
As you read through the devotionals, you'll realize that there's an invisible thread running through the book which, while not always mentioned, permeates every idea and thought at hand: The Christian life is about finding our greatest delight in the person of God. What does this mean? How do you go about experiencing it? You'll have to give me your mornings to find out.
How is the book structured?
