"Book of Quilia" was written entirely by Megan and her daughter, Eja. They started the project when Eja was seven years old as a bonding activity. Megan wrote text and Eja filled in the blanks with her own special details. They both worked together to edit and finish the book. What started out as a small project, soon became a 400-page handwritten novel, that they took turns typing into a digital format. This book was a gift, shared between Eja and Megan, and now is shared with the world.

Liz is no ordinary 13-year-old. She has a gift of memory. She starts to remember a boy that she has never met before, and seeing visions of a world that she has never been to. She starts to wonder if it is just a dream. On her birthday, however, Liz's parents give her mysterious items that tell Liz that maybe the magical world, and the young boy, could be real. Liz discovers that this young boy needs her help, and she will have to journey to another world to save him. There is a darkness that threatens all of their lives. Who is the boy? Will Liz succeed or will she be trapped in the darkness of another world forever?
