Savannah Green was Chief of Security for World Adventure Cruises and she could never say her job was dull.

From the day she joined the Company, the day it changed its name from Caribbean Destiny Cruises, owning only one ship to World Adventure Cruises with four ships, Savannah had been kept hopping, solving mysteries and catching criminals on board the beautiful, luxury class cruise ships that sailed to the four corners of the globe.

Anthony Edwards, the patriarch of the Edwards clan and his wife Jane made their money from royalties on the oil and gas sitting underneath their Oklahoma farm, and then they made more money as very astute investors.

When they sold the farm for mega-millions, they funded World Adventure Cruises, and now, a year or so later, they had a windfall profit on Wall Street.

In Jane's mind, that meant they should expand the family business to five ships, and make the latest ship the most opulent in the world.

Whatever Jane wanted to do, Anthony figured she should get to do, so now Magnificent Adventure was ready to sail the Seven Seas on her maiden voyage, carrying only one thousand passengers, but those passengers were pampered and cosseted like no others sailing the globe.

Savannah was on board of course, because this voyage was extremely important to World Adventure Cruises, and she knew it would attract the criminal element anxious to fleece the ultra-wealthy passengers traveling in the beautiful staterooms exquisitely decorated for their pleasure.

Savannah expected the pickpockets, she expected the scam artists, she expected the card sharks who would set up their private poker games, and she expected the cat burglars who would attempt entry into those exquisite staterooms when they knew the occupants were otherwise occupied, and she was right.

All those criminals did find their way onto the passenger list or onto the crew, but she didn't expect two criminals who were there to score the biggest haul of their lives.
