The Magician's Guild is again trying to take over the duchies of Hengel and Argent. The Magicians want to control all the magician's stones which allow those possessing them to make people do whatever they want.

Practical Joker Delvin and Princess Jarla are determined to stop them. Together with the duke's fixer Grimbolt and a street urchin, they are all that stand in the magician's way. The situation gets desperate as The Guild of Magicians take almost total control. Then just as Delvin and Princess Jarla begin to disrupt the magician's plans, Princess Jarla is captured.

Delvin has to call on all his cunning and skill with magic tricks for them to survive and win through.
