What do you do with a drunken sailor when the world is underwater?

My name is Bird Howsley, and I'm a beautiful disaster. Or... maybe just a disaster, period. Born in a brutal waterworld where survival depends on the ocean, I've spent twenty years wondering why I don't fit in.
