Description
Just days after denouncing his own books and the entire whodunnit genre on primetime TV at the BAFTAS, Britain's biggest crime fiction writer is found murdered in Queen's Park, Glasgow.
As DCI Pat Curzon and his Liverpudlian sidekick, Tommy McDermott, trawl the rainy city searching for his killer, they soon find their current case dovetailing with another unsolved murder from thirty years ago.
From glitzy publishing houses in Canary Wharf skyscrapers to spooky loch-side baronial castles, not to mention the whole of Glasgow and Edinburgh in between, the list of suspects, red herrings and false dawns seems to be never-ending, leading them to wonder if they will ever catch their culprit.
