Description
No crying, pleading, or praying is a work of historical fiction set in Europe prior to and during World War II. As a result of Hitler's unquestioned power and unrelenting anti-Semitism, years before the Germans invaded Poland on 1 September 1939, the Germans developed and carried out a program called T4. This initiative called for the murder of all those who were deemed disabled or unfit and resulted in the deaths of 300,000 innocent adults and children. This book tells how one family, the Steins, experiences the euthanasia of Aktion T4, Theresienstadt, Auschwitz, and the German annexation of Austria.
