Description
For more than ten years Michael Keller has drifted through life. Alone, with only the bottle to keep him company, he worked odd jobs wherever he could to make ends meet only as long as they'd let him drink. On one cold February afternoon in 1985, after not showing up for work in Anchorage, he gets in his car and heads north toward Fairbanks.
Long after the sun has set, and after stopping at a bar, he finds himself driving through a winding desolate road on a wooded hillside. As the night grows darker, he eventually stumbles onto a crime scene that will shake him to his core and stir up old memories that lay half-buried.
Faced with a choice, he must confront the man that he was, and the man that he wished he could be.
Evil wears a familiar face in this dark psychological suspense novel blending in elements of noir as it shines a spotlight on the everyday choices we make, the people we trust, and the thin line that often separates good and evil.
