Victoria Cepeda born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Union City, New Jersey. She and her sisters arrived on a cold and rainy November day of 1985. At fourteen years old, she could not speak or write English. Today, she's a writer and a mother of two amazing sons on a quest to find her sunny spot. JJ and Frijolito is her first book and it has been translated into Spanish.
