Description

Humanity is doomed as the Elder Gods render their judgment. In their wrath, they unleash the Grand Crucible on Earth. Two-thirds of humanity are turned into zombies and soon beasts evolve into horrifying monsters. Things start looking dire for the survivors, especially the Barkley twins. Jill is in Reno with Mom, and her brother Jack is stuck in the middle of nowhere Iowa with his prick of a stepdad and his seven-year-old half-sister. To make matters worse, the cruel gods curse the twins right from the start. They must find each other. ASAP. Or else.

Armed with strange new Paths, humanity struggles for survival as the Crucibles bring hostile creatures from other worlds to the fallen Earth. But the Paths also grant amazing powers to those who dare to walk them. Will it be enough to ensure the safety of the Barkleys and their friends?
