Description

An escape from the mob that ran Wheeling, West Virginia was just the beginning.

Father of Mine starts with a murder, of a father or his son. It ends with one man dead and the other on the run.

Son of Mine begins where Father of Mine concludes. With page-turning twists and turns, Son of Mine takes Father of Mine well beyond its final page to an eventual conclusion that is both inevitable and surprising.

In Part One, the survivor tries to keep surviving on the other side of the country -- and to neutralize the threats to his safety that emerge, faster than he ever expected. Action is required, decisiveness is needed. How far will he go to protect himself and his family? How far can he go?

Part Two shifts to the aftermath of the murder and the escape. Two members of the Wheeling crew plot an uprising against the boss. They find an unexpected ally in a retired accountant who stumbles into a chance at revenge. He lands in an even more unexpected relationship, complicating his mission. The plan unravels, the mutiny proceeds, and mayhem ensues.

Part Three opens nearly two years later. As fresh attempts at the survivor's life unfold in Arizona, it becomes clear that there can be only one solution. He must return to West Virginia and face those who still wish him dead.

Said Kirkus Reviews of Son of Mine: "A fast-paced mob-family saga with compelling characters, great dialogue, and hardboiled vengeance."
