Description
A touching story about family, life obstacles, forgiveness, and the true meaning of friendship for 8 to 12-year-olds.
When everything feels broken and impossible to repair, what can a third grader do?
Frankie and Cal are neighbors and best friends, hanging out and helping each other through their difficult times. As life takes a scary turn, Cal takes a leadership role in his family while Frankie desperately searches for ways to make his life easier. Not knowing she was overstepping, Frankie shares his troubles, which breaks their friendship apart. When life continues to pile on, and both Frankie and Cal fear the worst, an idea turns the tides. And, as it turns out, maybe a third grader can do an awful lot after all.
