A tiny, doll-like girl who lives high up in the atmosphere decides to visit Planet Earth. Encouraged by her friends, Cuddly Cumulus and Whistle Wind, she takes a gigantic leap across the sky. She lands on the Statue of Liberty in New York City, where she meets a young boy named Sean.

In the animated conversation that follows, they compare the unique environments that they each call home, but will they ever be able to bridge the gap between them?

Little-Princess will encourage young readers not only to learn about the world around them, but also to dream about the world above, embracing its boundless magic and pondering the true meaning of friendship.

Marie-Paule Mahoney was born and grew up in Brittany, France. She now lives in the foothills of New York State. Her career as an educator led her to write and cowrite two books for learning French.
When Marie-Paule retired, she took a greater interest in nature, wildlife, and conservation. She expresses these interests in her children's books that feature animals in their habitats. She also explores themes of love, friendship, and loss in her writing. The mysterious beauty of the natural world inspired her to write Little-Princess.
