No Place Like Heaven is inspired by my love of the Wizard of Oz, crazy right? What Pastor would see Jesus in such a movie? But I do. Jesus taught in parables and I want to excite you through this book to see Him in everything, not just church. He is everywhere all the time waiting to lead you down the narrow path that leads to that beautiful golden street in Heaven. The Bible teaches us the beauty of that path, the gates, and the eternal life waiting on us. (Revelations21:21 "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass"). It is up to us to go down the narrow path by walking by faith not by sight like Dorothy. Renewing our mind like Scarecrow. Finding out how to have a heart for Christ & like Christ like the Tin Man. And to have courage to stay on the narrow path no matter how scary that may be like the Lion. We have the power through Christ Jesus to get to Heaven. We have to decide to use it for ourselves!
