Description
Eleanor Stubb is a disturbed young woman.
Released from a sanatorium, she and her husband move to a decaying Manor House with her father-in-law,Theodore. He is a keen entomologist, often in his attic, adding to his extensive collection of insects. He's also a master hypnotist, assisted by a remarkable pocket watch.
After unsettling days, the boundary between danger and safety blurs. Through Theodore's unforgivable act involving the watch, Eleanor becomes pregnant. Intrigue and murder soon follow in its wake.
Thirteen years later, Eleanor's teenage son Alastair is possessed by Theodore's malevolent spirit. A chilling chain of events is unleashed across the village. But how is the pocket watch involved, and how can a collection of dead insects cause so much astonishment and destruction? With mystery unfolding and secrets exposed, can Alastair escape the wicked possession and heal the wounds of the past?
