Successful lawyer Julieta Martí is certainly a success on paper: respectable job, good salary, perfect daughter to her immigrant parents. As the eldest daughter, she hoped to do wonderful things with her life, but spent it appeasing her parents and watching over her cousins instead. When Julie's late grandmother, a famous tango dancer, leaves her shoes to Julie, she doesn't know what to make of it, but she wonders if it might be a sign to reinvent her life. She secretly signs up for tango classes, keeping it under wraps from her family, and uncovers a buried passion.
World renowned dancer Logan Beck isn't sure what he wants to do anymore. He's been dancing since he was thirteen years old, but recent events have left him feeling unsettled. His last competition was rough, his longtime partner is moving away, and he's not feeling the love for it like he used to.
