This book is part of a series, but you definitely don't need to read them in order. Even the stories within the book don't need to be read in sequence.

• 7 true stories - that I've lived, witnessed, or heard about. It's important to learn about real events. However, I always omit names and change locations to make the stories untraceable.

• Highlighted vocabulary in the stories - as a Portuguese teacher for 12 years, I know what is interesting for you to learn or reinforce at your level. All bolded words in the text can be found in the "vocabulary" section.

• Multiple-choice and open-ended questions - for you to practice your comprehension of the text, either on your own, with the help of a teacher, or with a Brazilian.

• English translations.

• And the best part - all the stories are read by native Brazilian Portuguese speakers, so you can get used to the sounds of the language.
