Description
The Mower Boy tells the story of a remarkable man. Born with cerebral palsy, Roger
Grein faced many challenges, but he never gave up on a goal and never complained
about his circumstances. A man of strong faith, Roger maintained a thankful attitude
throughout his life. Even though he had earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance
and a Master's in Business Administration, finding traditional employment was
difficult for Roger because of his disability. Undaunted, he became a successful
entrepreneur with his own tax consulting business. The reader will discover how
Roger also became involved in his community in a number of ways, among them,
as a volunteer coach and manager for girls' softball teams for thirty-six years. He
was an exceptional coach and took his team to national championships, and to
international competitions as far away as Moscow. Grateful to God for granting
him a happy life, despite his disabilities, Roger was generous with those incapable
of helping themselves. He supported many charities within his local communities,
as well as abroad. Roger's conviction to help those in need led him to his current
position as Founder and President of Magnified Giving. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization focuses on educating youth in philanthropy, so that the students of
today can bring about a positive transformation to the world of tomorrow. Roger
is truly a change-maker, a hero to many, and a dear friend to those who know
him. This book is an inspirational must-read!
